A bylaw (the word comes from borough law or burgh law) is a rule or regulation made by a local authority such as a city or district council.

Selwyn District's existing bylaws were reviewed in 2008.  Submissions are now closed and the council adopted the bylaws on 11 June 2008. You can read the:
