APPENDIX 2 OF DOG CONTROL BYLAW 2006

Except for days, such as pets day or similar, designated by the school principal or specific days for events, such as dog obedience training or trials, designated by a reserve management committee, the following schools, parks, domains and reserves are prohibited to dogs:

Secondary Schools

• Ellesmere College

• Darfield High

Primary Schools

• Broadfield

• Burnham

• Darfield

• Glentunnel

• Greendale

• Greenpark

• Hororata

• Kirwee

• Leeston

• Lincoln

• Rolleston

• Sheffield

• Southbridge

• Springfield

• Springston

• Taitapu

The following parks, domains or reserves are prohibited to dogs:

• Dunsandel Domain

• Glentunnel Domain (Golf Course and children’s playground areas)

• Greendale Domain

• Greenpark Reserve

• Hororata Domain (picnic area, main gate to and including playground, tennis court and lake area)

• Kirwee Domain

• Kowai Pass Domain

• Leeston Park

• Lincoln Domain (with the exception of the signposted area on “number two field”)*

• Mead Reserve

• Prebbleton Reserve

• Rhodes Park

• Sheffield Domain

• Southbridge Park

• Springston South Reserve

• West Melton Domain

* The signposted area on “number two field” in the Lincoln

   Domain is prohibited to dogs between 9am to 6pm on

   Saturdays.
