Dunsandel Community Centre Grand Opening

Current location in the site

The Dunsandel Community Committee is hosting a Grand Opening event

The event celebrates the completion of the Dunsandel Community Centre, and is to be held on Friday 4 August, from 4pm.

A community celebration will follow the opening formalities, which will be carried out by the Hon Amy Adams, MP for Selwyn.

The new facility replaces the original Dunsandel Community Hall, which was located in the township and demolished after being damaged beyond repair in the 2010/2011 earthquakes. The local community has raised $350,000 through fundraising, including generous contributions from Rata Foundation and The New Zealand Lottery Grants Board.

The new Community Centre, located at 1456 Tramway Road, is a multi-purpose facility which will be used by sporting and community groups, businesses, and for events.

To enquire about room hire, contact the Dunsandel Community Committee on 027 477 9754.
