Boil Water Notice for Sheffield-Waddington water supply lifted

The Boil Water Notice for households on the Sheffield–Waddington water supply has been lifted.

Residents on the Sheffield–Waddington water supply are advised they no longer need to boil water. The Council has received water sampling results showing that the water is clear of E.coli.

The water supply was chlorinated in response to the E.coli event and Council will continue to chlorinate to maintain a safe supply for the residents of Sheffield–Waddington.

If you have any questions please contact the Council on 03 347 2800 or 03 318 8338.

The Council appreciates residents’ patience while the Boil Water Notice has been in place.

Updates will also be posted to the Selwyn District Council website.
