If you have lost or found a dog, the Council has a round-the-clock service, seven days a week. To report a lost or found dog please contact our animal control officers on 347 2800 or Darfield 318 8338.
If you lose or find a dog, please let the Council know as soon as possible. We need a description of the dog and where it was last seen.
Council keeps a register of dogs lost and found and most of the time are able to reunite dogs and their owners.
Remember, if we don't know about it, we can't help.
