Current location in the site
Work on the Waddington intersection improvement project has now been completed. The new intersection providing access to State Highway 73, Waimakariri Gorge Road and Old West Coast Road was opened for use on Monday 6 July 2009.
The roading project has been designed to improve traffic safety at the intersection and the rail crossing. Selwyn District Council, NZTA and Ontrack jointly funded the project with Sicon Ltd being the main contractor.
