Recycling is collected fortnightly using yellow-top 240 litre wheelie bins. Smaller households have the option of a smaller 140 litre wheelie bin. Collection starts at 7.30am (7am for some Main South Road properties). There is a 60 kg weight restriction on the bins. If your bin is too heavy the contractor will place a sticker on the bin informing you why it was not emptied.

Crates are available for householders who use the collection but do not live on the collection routes. These households will be issued with two crates due to the smaller capacity or if they wish a yellow-top wheelie bin.
