We currently have the following employment opportunities available:

Community Development Advisor - Community Committees

Selwyn has 87 voluntary community committees which assist Council to manage

the townships, reserves and community halls across the District.

Council seeks to support and add value to the community work that

these groups achieve by the appointment of a new position as part of its Community

Development Team.

Are you the person we are seeking?

• Community orientated with a focus on community development

• An adaptable communicator who can work alongside passionate people

• Development of training and support for a varied audience

• Achieving results through a collaborative approach.

Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated abilities in community

development, preferably in a local authority environment.
