With the hot weather here, it’s the right time to be getting started on good habits to make sure you don’t go dry this summer,
Council Infrastructure and Property Group Manager Murray Washington says.

“The forecast is for a lovely sunny summer, with little rain. It’s great for getting out in the garden, but it also means our water supplies are often placed under pressure as many people decide to water their lawns and gardens at the same time. We’re encouraging people to do the best for their garden, their wallet and the community so we can all enjoy a good water supply.”

To help this happen, the Council is recommending using the watering guide shown here to water at times that help your garden and save water. Check out more water savings tips .
