How inspections work | |
| Check out what inspections are required for your project - see your building consent and information on required inspections |
| Make sure the work is ready for inspection |
| When booking your inspection have the following information ready - building consent number - details for site contact on day of inspection - LBP details for restricted building work being inspected* |
| The nominated contact person will receive a text confirming the date of booking after bookings are closed off for the day |
| An inspector will call the contact person on the day to arrange an approximate time for your inspection |
| The inspection you booked will be carried out by an inspector onsite |
| A copy of the inspection report telling you if its a pass or a fail, with details on any failed items is sent to the site contact, project manager and owner - inspection reports can also be viewed through the AlphaOne customer portal or on AlphaOne Builders app |
* Note – where LBP details are required and not supplied, your booking may not be able to proceed.
