Business Capability Development Funding
Running a successful business demands a wide range of skills and knowledge - and those skills can make the difference between success and failure.
Through NZTEs Capability Development programme, the Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce can assist with identifying your business’s unique management needs, and potentially support you financially with addressing those needs. Where needed, we can issue Capability Development vouchers which:
- can be used for training workshops, courses, and business expertise
- are available to owners, operators and key managers
- can cover up to 50% of the cost, up to a maximum of $5000
Vouchers can be redeemed with a wide range of registered providers, for training in areas such as business planning, marketing, finance, business systems, staff management, governance, sustainability, lean manufacturing, business operations, and exporting.
To qualify for a voucher, you must be GST registered, privately owned or a Maori Trust, and have fewer than 50 full time employees; and undertake a short business assessment with the Business Advisor to clarify needs. To find out more, contact Jason MacRae, Business Growth Advisor, on 027 576 0771 or email email@example.com to register your interest.
