These days are a great chance to clean up your shed, backyard and garden and drop-off garden waste, bulky waste, scrap metal, tyres, child car seats, electronic waste and mixed recycling (plastic bottles and containers, paper, cardboard, steel and aluminium cans, and glass bottles and jars) to a local collection point.

Bulky waste - Items too large for your wheelie bin e.g. furniture, chairs, couches, desks, clothes, curtains, carpets.Smelly or wet waste, any waste that cannot easily be transferred to skips without causing a mess.

$20 per car boot, $35 per small trailer/ute/van up to 2.1m x 1.2m, $60 per large trailer up to 3m x 1.5m. Over and above $20 per m3.

Garden waste - Prunings, tree trimmings, weeds.

General rubbish, flax, cabbage tree leaves, trees or branches over 10cm in diameter.

$5 per car, $10 per ute or single axle trailer, $15 per twin axle trailer.

Scrap metal - metals, bicycles, BBQs, small appliances, whiteware, pots and pans.

Gas bottles, items containing oil/fuel.Free of charge.


Tyres containing or covered in dirt. $5 per car tyre, $6.50 per 4WD tyre (tyres on rims will be charged double).

Child car seats.

Fabric covers (please remove), polystyrene child car seats.

$15 per seat.

Electronic waste - Flat screen and CRT TVs and monitors, computers, printers, phones, cameras, stereos, cables.

Whiteware and small appliances (these can go in the scrap metal).

$10 per CRT or flat screen TV or monitor. All other e-waste free of charge.

Mixed recycling - Flattened, clean cardboard and paper, Empty and clean, no lids:

  • Plastic bottles and containers (numbers 1-7)
  • Steel and aluminium cans
  • Glass bottles and jars
Lids, soft plastic/plastic wrap, crockery/window glass, polystyrene, engine oil containers or hazardous waste containers.

Free of charge.

Please separate different waste streams. Only household amounts will be accepted. Please ensure you are able to unload your own materials into the bins provided upon arriving. Cash only (no EFTPOS). A donation will be made to a local not-for-profit organisation for their support with this event.
