ShelleyMy principal place of residence is in the Ellesmere Ward area.

Having grown up in Selwyn, I have watched as our district has grown immensely in the last few years, and I'm very proud of the direction we are heading in. I'm also excited to see what is in store for us next. There are many projects already in the works, and I am keen to be a part of a forward thinking, community focused, family friendly Selwyn.

My background is in the horse racing industry and I am a Health and Safety advocate in my current employment. I enjoy exploring our districts lakes and rivers whenever I can, one of the many advantages to living in this district is having so much on offer on our doorstep.

I look forward to your support in my campaign to serve the Ellesmere ward, bringing a fresh perspective to council and the future of our district.

Kia ora my name is Shane Epiha,

I am a father of 5 aged between 17 years and 5 months old. We moved back to Aotearoa 2 years ago from Australia. We love the area and now call Leeston our home.

My intentions for running in the local body elections is to be a voice for the community.

To create opportunities of employment for our Rangatahi (young leaders)

To work with rural and urban businesses to develop pathways into our primary industries.

To educate safe road practises with the involvement of Transport Associations of which I am currently a committee member of.

I care for our community development and the welfare of those living within it.

I hope to work alongside the great team of councillors in the area and learn from those who have laid the path for me.

Nga Mihi.
