Down by the Liffey Gallery in Lincoln is the little gallery with a big heart, run by the community for the community. The gallery was opened in October 2011 in the historic Coronation Library building and is managed and staffed by a wonderful team of volunteers.
The gallery values, above all, its links with its local community There is an annual community exhibition and a Members Show in December.
Main activities and services
Exhibitions showcase local , emerging, and established artists with new exhibitions every month. The exhibitors are drawn from the local Selwyn District and surrounds, and have included artists with a far wider Canterbury, New Zealand and international reputation.
In addition to our regular exhibitions, we have The Shop – an exciting array of different and beautiful artworks, plus cards and prints available purchase at any time.
