Welcome to the Anglican Church of the Resurrection in Rolleston. The first build church in Rolleston some 50 years ago. It used to house Anglican, Methodist, Presbyterian and Catholic parishioners before becoming solely Anglican faith. We are a church community whose life is centered in Jesu Christ and whose identity is shaped by the word of God. We trace our history to the New Testament church, but our local life began, when our church was founded. Our Anglican Church of the Resurrection, Rolleston is part of the Parish of Lincoln, Selwyn and in the Anglican Diocese of Christchurch, Canterbury New Zealand.

Our Anglican Church of the Resurrection is in the Community, for the Community since 1973. We provide a framework that helps our congregation to celebrate their strengths, identify areas for improvement and create space for creative new initiatives. Our vision is to be missionary people, committed to the proclamation of the good news of Jesus, teaching the faith, the service of others, and the transformation of the world. We are an Anglican Church in Aotearoa New Zealand and Polynesia, part of the worldwide Christian Church and with that we believe Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection saved the world, and we follow his teachings.
