About this Dashboard

This dashboard provides information on resource consent applications received by Selwyn District Council, decisions issued, and overall consent processing activity. You can search for resource consent applications and decisions by consent number, applicant, location, legal description, consent type, or other keywords.

Resource Consent Documents

As part of Council's commitment to improving transparency and access to information, resource consent documents are being progressively made available through this dashboard.

From August 2026, Council has begun transitioning to the proactive publication of documents for new resource consent applications. During this transition period, document availability may vary between applications as the new process is implemented, and not all applications may have the same range of documents available.

For applications lodged before August 2026, documents are not routinely published through the dashboard. However, where appropriate, documents relating to these applications may be made available on request.

The documents published through this dashboard are limited to those that are material to the resource consent process. Depending on the application, this may include application documents, plans, requests for further information, specialist reports, submissions, officer reports, and decision documents.

The complete resource consent file is not published through the dashboard. If you require access to other documents relating to a resource consent application, you may request these from Council. Requests for official information will be considered in accordance with the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.
