NZ-RT members are volunteers who enjoy a physically and mentally challenging environment. Our NZ-RTs are qualified responders who share a common passion to support Civil Defence Emergency Management Groups and their communities during an emergency event.

We welcome a diverse range of volunteers to our team. Volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and cover a range of emergency roles. You will benefit from being taught both core and specialist skills and maintained these, during regular meetings and training exercises, as well as being part of a high-performing team.
