Lincoln & Districts Historical Society

Lincoln and Districts Historical Society members work to promote interest in and encourage the recording of local history for Lincoln and surrounding districts, including Greenpark, Ladbrooks, Tai Tapu, Broadfield and Springston in Canterbury, New Zealand.

Society members maintain two historic buildings in Lincoln.
Liffey Cottage is furnished as a late 19th century cottage and Pioneer Hall includes displays of historic photos.Both buildings are open from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm on the first Sunday of each month, except New Year's Day. Visitors are most welcome.

Members also publish a research newsletter, organise local field trips, and are happy to assist with family and local history inquiries.
