The Selwyn Responsible Business Awards are back, inviting businesses, schools and charities from across the district to showcase the positive impact they’re making in our community. Whether you're reducing waste, supporting staff wellbeing, championing sustainability, or giving back locally, these awards celebrate organisations that are making a real difference.

Responsible business doesn’t mean doing everything at once. It’s about understanding where you are today, identifying opportunities to improve, and taking meaningful steps forward.

Run by the Lincoln Envirotown Trust, and supported by Selwyn District Council, the biennial awards programme is designed to make the entry process as simple and supportive as possible. Awards Assessor Chris Stagg will visit for a relaxed 30-minute conversation to learn about what you're already doing and provide practical guidance throughout the process.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing inspiring stories from previous award recipients, exploring the benefits of entering, and highlighting real-world examples of organisations that have used the awards to grow, gain recognition, and strengthen their positive impact. We look forward to celebrating the great work happening right here in Selwyn.
