The Annual Plan 2017/18 [PDF, 2676 KB] outlines Selwyn District Council’s work programme and budget for the 2017/18 year.

This is the second Annual Plan following the adoption in 2015 of the Long-Term Plan 2015-2025, which set out the detailed 10-year blueprint for the Council’s activities.

Selwyn District Council formally adopted the Annual Plan 2017/18 on 14 June 2017.

Copies of the Annual Plan 2017/18 are also available for viewing at the Council offices and service centres.

Annual Plan 2017/18 Consultation Document

The Council’s Consultation Document for the Annual Plan 2017/18 [PDF, 2151 KB] was released for public consultation on 3 April 2017, and consultation closed on 3 May 2017.

The consultation document focused on identifying any significant changes to what was proposed for 2017/18 in the Long-Term Plan 2015-2025.

A total of 189 submissions were received on the draft plan, while 241 people completed an online survey about key issues in the consultation document. Public hearings were held on 18 and 19 May 2017, and the Council held deliberations on public feedback on 25 May 2017.

Long-Term Plan 2015-2025

The Long-Term Plan 2015-2025 Towards ’25 is the Council’s 10-year plan which was adopted in 2015 after public consultation. The Annual Plan 2017/18 covers the third year of the Long-Term Plan.
