We are here for people with disability, aged adults, whānau, and the Canterbury community. Serving the Canterbury community since 1982, Aspire provides free disability information and advice, and access to resources that enable disabled people, and people with impairments to live their best life. In addition we have a shop, which enables you to buy and hire products to keep you independent and thriving with expert advice and support We also administer the Total Mobility discount taxi scheme, and offer a unique mobile van service to the Canterbury community which makes it easy to access information and products.
Main activities and services
We are a Disability Information centre . We promote and support the local provision of impartial health and disability and information and resources service. We have a mobile service that can bring our products and information to you. We also offer the Total Mobility card which gives eligible people half price taxi fares. We have a shop in Bishopdale Mall in Christchurch that stocks products to help you live independently which you can order from our website or we can bring them out to you. We run events and workshops to support people living in the community and those who care for them
