New Development Facilitation Service
Selwyn District Council has launched a new Development Facilitation Service to help navigate complex or significant development projects in the district.
Projects involving multiple Council teams, approvals, infrastructure requirements or interdependent processes can be challenging to coordinate.
Following an initial discovery meeting, the service can map out the likely regulatory approval pathway, including key interdependencies and the anticipated sequencing and timing of applications and approvals. Throughout the project, it provides a consistent single point of contact to help bring the right people together, coordinate agreed actions, and keep key dependencies, progress and next steps visible.
The service can support projects involving Planning, Building, Development Engineering, Transport, Water Services, Infrastructure and other Council specialists as required.
If you have a complex development coming up, or would like to explore whether the service could be useful for your project, we encourage you to get in touch early.
The initial discovery meeting is free, with no obligation to continue with the paid service.
Find out more or request a discovery meeting through the Development Facilitation Service page on Council’s website.
