Wheelie Bin Re-Issue Charges

There are no wheelie bin delivery charges for new houses, new owners, or for households changing from a 240 litre rubbish bin to an 80 litre rubbish bin. The new annual rate charge will be based on the date of the swap.

A charge of $85.00 (incl. GST) will be made for any request for a re-issue of an organic wheelie bin to the same property within two years. The re-issue charge will not apply where there has been a change in ownership of the property.

Households may have their bin/s removed due to repeated contamination, following no fewer than three warnings pursuant to the Waste Management and Minimisation Bylaw 2019 [PDF, 212 KB]. Households that wish to have their bin/s re-issued are required to sign a conditions of use form and pay a re-issue fee of $85.00 (incl. GST) to have their bin/s returned, at the discretion of the Solid Waste Manager.
