We are proud to share that our strategy has been recognised with the Integrated Strategy Award at the 2024 Economic Development New Zealand Best Practice Awards. This prestigious accolade acknowledges exceptional strategic planning that unifies diverse initiatives across departments, stakeholders, and levels of governance to achieve meaningful impact.
The Economic Development Strategy was developed together with Selwyn businesses. Through a range of online and in-person events and workshops, over 250 local businesses leaders shared their valuable insights and vision on how we can work together to build a resilient future-fit Selwyn to grow the local economy and increase the prosperity and economic wellbeing of residents and businesses.
