Community Centres

Create a party they won’t forget at one of our Selwyn community centres.

Book our DIY Party Package on its own or customise your celebration with a Disco or Soft Play upgrade, plus optional extras.

Decorations and equipment will be ready in the room for you to set up yourselves and take down afterwards.

DIY Party Package

$150*
3 hour party room hire
This includes your time to set up, party time, pack down and cleaning.
For example: 30 minutes setup, 2 hours party time, 30 minutes pack down and cleaning.

  • Kitchen facilities available (facilities vary by venue)
  • Tables and chairs
  • Plug and play sound system (BYO phone or device)
  • Selection of decorations
  • Photo booth backdrop (BYO camera or device)
  • Editable electronic party invitations (choice of two designs)
  • Games box with four traditional party games
  • Suitable for up to 30 children (additional adults may attend, subject to the maximum capacity of the venue booked)

You will need to:

  • Set up the decorations and equipment
  • Pack down and clean the room before departure

Disco Upgrade

+ $100*

Create your own disco experience with:

  • Disco lights
  • Mirror ball
  • Microphone
  • TV screen for photo slideshow or videos (BYO device)

Soft Play Upgrade Under 5’s

+ $100*
Create your own fun play space with soft play shapes and equipment.

*At selected Selwyn District Council Community Centres. Subject to equipment availability.

  • Tea and coffee for adults
  • Additional hours of room hire
  • TV screen or projector hire available separately with the DIY package.

DIY Splash

LUX Splash

DIY Sport

3 hours (DIY includes your set up and pack down time. You are responsible for leaving the court clean and tidy.)

  • Package for up to 30 kids (additional entries extra cost)
  • Two sport choices on one court (see website form for details). Set up done by facility.

Soft Play

Lux Sport
