Springston Rolleston Road - Waterway Enhancement

From Monday 8 to Friday 12 June, CORDE will be carrying out works on behalf of Selwyn District Council to enhance the waterway along Springston Rolleston Road, between Ed Hillary Drive and Selwyn Road.

These works will involve removing existing vegetation along the banks and replanting the area, along with mulching to support new garden beds.

Work will begin at around 7am and they aim to be completed by 6pm daily, Monday to Friday.

Traffic impacts

  • A 30km/h temporary speed limit will be in place
  • A two-lane diversion will be in place shifting traffic across to allow vehicles to continue travelling in both directions
  • At times, CORDE will escort pedestrians along the pathway on the eastern side of the waterway

  • CORDE will aim to keep traffic, dust and noise to a minimum.
