Local Matters - A fresh take on what’s happening in your community

A fresh take on what’s happening in your community

Join your Mayor and Councillors at a town hall-style community event to hear the latest updates on local projects, priorities and issues, ask questions and join the conversation about your community’s future.

What to expect:

Local Matters are informal, town hall-style meetings where you can hear updates from your local councillors on future vision, development, community funding, infrastructure, water services, and other issues affecting your town. They're also an opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and discuss local priorities in an open and relaxed setting.

Tāwera Malvern (in partnership with the Malvern Community Board)

Thank you to the Tāwera Malvern Ward community for joining us in Glentunnel for our Local Matters community meeting, held in partnership with the Malvern Community Board, where we discussed the things that matter to the people who live in the area. There were nearly 40 people who came to discuss, ask questions, and hear from their Mayor Lydia Gliddon, Ward Councillor John Verry, Councillor At Large Samuel Wilshire, and the Malvern Community Board. We're looking forward to seeing the Springs and Ellesmere Ward communities at the upcoming Local Matters meetings in Lincoln and Leeston.
