From Monday 13 July to Thursday 5 November CORDE will be carrying out works on behalf of Selwyn Water Limited to install a watermain on State Highway 77 (Homebush Road) between Whitecliffs Road and Coaltrack Road.

From Monday 13 July work will begin at Glentunnel Domain working towards Coaltrack Road.
From Monday 28 September work will begin at Glentunnel Domain working towards Whitecliffs Road.

Traffic Impacts

Temporary traffic management will be in place for the duration of the work, including:

  • Temporary traffic lights will be in place around the worksite and will move as work moves along the road.
  • Works will progress along Homebush Road in stages, rather than across the full length of road at once.
  • As the work site progresses along Homebush Road, some side streets will be accessible from Homebush Road but will not have an exit back onto it. Please follow detour signage in place.
  • A temporary speed limit of 30 km/h.

Resident access

While we are trenching past driveways, property access may be disrupted for up to two days at a time. The on-site team will contact properties directly and support access.

Please let us know if you have any specific access requirements e.g. nurse/doctor visit, planned works to your property or large deliveries.

Orange section – Work will commence in the direction of the arrow from Monday 13 July.  

Blue section – Work will commence in the direction of the arrow from Monday 28 September.
