Stage One

From Monday 13 to Friday 7 August CORDE will be carrying out works on behalf of Ngāi Tahu Property and Mike Greer Homes, to install a new sewer main on Tosswill Road. This is part of a wider programme of work that will be occuring through until October 2026 and updates will be provided as the stages are confirmed.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Temporary traffic lights will in place allowing alternate flow
  • There will be a 30 km/h temporary speed limit in place
  • Footpath closures will be in place, please follow the detour signage

Vehicle access to some driveways will be temporarily restricted while the sewer main pipe is installed. The on-site team will contact properties directly and support access.

Stage Two

From Monday 10 August to Friday 20 November the next stage of watermain installation on Tosswill Road

Traffic Impacts:

  • From Monday 10 to Friday 21 August one-lane of Tosswill Road will be closed from Edwards Street to Springs Road for all traffic heading towards Springs Road. There will be no access to Springs Road from Tosswill Road and a 30km/h temporary speed limit will be in place on Tosswill Road.
  • from Monday 24 August to Friday 23 October Tosswill Road will be closed outside Prebbleton Domain between Ashford Drive and Edward  Law Boulevard.
  • From Monday 25 October to Friday 20 November Tosswill Road will be closed except to residents.
