Obtaining a code compliance certificate (CCC) is the last step in confirming that your building complies with your issued building consent.

Overview of getting your code compliance certificate | |
Apply for your code compliance certificate before you book your final inspection - check you have submitted all required documents and any information requested from inspection reports | |
Book final inspection - use the same booking procedure as for other inspections | |
Your final inspection will be carried out | |
The inspector will check that you have provided all documents to allow them to make a decision on whether your building complies with your consent Note - council has 20 working days to decide whether to issue or refuse a code compliance certificate | |
You may receive an invoice if there have been additional costs during your build - eg additional inspections | |
Your code compliance certificate will be issued after you have paid all fees due OR you will be advised if your code compliance has been refused |
