National Environmental Standards
The NES relates to land which is could be contaminated from an activity or industry on the Hazardous Activities or Industries List
The National Environmental Standard (NES) for Assessing and Managing Contaminants in Soil to Protect Human Health is now in force.
Further information on the effects this change will have on our District Plan is in the report "Important Information For All Subdivisions and Changes of Land Use, especially in Rural Subdivisions"
