GW Wilfield Ltd has lodged a private plan change request with the Council. The Plan Change seeks to rezone Living 2 and Living 2A zoned land in West Melton to a new zone called 'Living WM South'.

The period for lodging appeals on Private Plan Change 59 ended on Thursday 27 May, and no appeals have been received. The provisions of Private Plan Change 59 will therefore become fully operative on 17 June 2021.

At its meeting on 10 March 2021, the Council considered the recommendation of the Commissioner in respect of the plan change request. Council resolved at this meeting to accept the Commissioner's recommendation on Plan Change 59 as its formal decision. This will be notified in due course.
