A reminder to register your dog before 1 September to avoid additional costs and potential infringement fees.

Registrations are now in the penalty period, meaning late registration fees have already been applied. Owners who have not yet renewed their dog’s registration should do so as soon as possible.

Failure to register a dog may result in a $300 infringement fine, in addition to outstanding registration fees.

Depending on the circumstances, this could bring the total cost to more than $400.

Registering your dog helps support essential animal management services and ensures the Council has up-to-date information to help reunite lost dogs with their owners.
