The Council has introduced a new Roadworks and Public Notices Channel to help you to stay up to date with road closures and traffic changes in your area.

We know road works can be disruptive, which is why we want to make it as easy as possible to access the information you need quickly.

The Roadworks and Public Notices Channel will be updated as we receive information about road closures that will affect residents and road users in Selwyn.

The channel is designed for Selwyn residents, commuters, and anyone who wants real‑time updates on local road changes.

What messages will I receive?

Subscribers will receive alerts on planned works, emergency closures, traffic delays and other important updates. You will not receive daily messages, only updates about significant works that are happening in Selwyn. However, during an emergency or during peak months there may be an increase in messaging.
