Understanding your rates invoice

The guide contains everything you need to know about your rates bill, including payment options, rate descriptions and FAQs.

A reminder that your Council invoice no longer includes drinking water and wastewater charges.

Selwyn Water is your new provider for these services, and you will be billed by them separately.

You will receive one Selwyn Water bill each quarter, which will include your fixed drinking water supply and wastewater charges and, where applicable, your metered (volumetric) water charges, based on how much water you use.

If you previously paid your six-monthly water invoice by automatic payment or internet banking, you will need to update your payment to their bank account.
