Here is a summary of Selwyn District Council services and opening hours for Anzac Day, Friday 25 April 2025.

The Council’s Rolleston Offices will be closed.

Rubbish and Recycling Collections: Anzac Day collections will take place on Saturday 26 April.

Pines Resource Recovery Park will be open normal hours 9am-4.30pm.

The ReUse Shop will be open from 1-4.30pm.

Te Ara Ātea will be open on Anzac Day from 1-5pm, all other sites will be closed.

All Council-managed Community Centres will be closed.

Selwyn Sports Centre will be closed.

Selwyn Aquatic Centre will be open 1-8pm.

Animal Control Services are available, operating 24 hours 7 days a week.
