Mathew Havill The Board of CORDE has announced the appointment of Mathew Havill as Chief Executive Officer.

A thorough national recruitment and selection process was conducted for this role, using Wellington-based executive search firm Taumata.

With more than 25 years of experience in the engineering and construction industries both in New Zealand and internationally, Mathew has consistently demonstrated strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to innovation and collaboration. His breadth of expertise and strong industry relationships will be invaluable as CORDE continues to grow and evolve in an increasingly dynamic sector.

Mathew brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served in a range of leadership positions within CORDE, including General Manager of construction and most recently General Manager of Technology & Operational Services. His appointment reflects his deep understanding of our operations, culture, and long-term vision.

CORDE Limited is a Council Controlled Organisation (CCO) fully owned by the Selwyn District Council. It operates as a contracting and maintenance business, providing services to the Council.
