Decorative photoFollowing the product recall of some brands of magic/kinetic sand containing traces of asbestos, we are able to offer safe local disposal.
Securely double-bagged sand can be taken to Pines Resource Recovery Park at 183 Burnham School Rd for disposal free of charge.
PLEASE NOTE:
  • Wear a mask and disposable gloves if possible
  • Place the sand into a sturdy plastic bag and tie or tape the bag securely closed
  • Place that bag into another bag (i.e. double bag it) and tie or tape that bag securely closed
  • Keep out of reach of children
See weighbridge staff for directions. Unopened packages can be returned to the store.

DO NOT dispose of sand in your kerbside bins or bags.
