Want to know if road maintenance is happening on your road this year?

Now you can with the Council’s new road maintenance map, which shows all planned road maintenance for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 financial years.

Every year, the Council maintains 2,475km of roads and 128 bridges. The team carries out a wide range of work, from minor
repairs and protection work, through to complete replacement of the road surface, all of which is shown on the map.

Most of this work is carried out from November to April, when more settled weather and higher temperatures result in fewer delays and a better finish. Find the map at: selwyn.govt.nz/roadsurfacing
