There’s still time to register your dog before 1 October.

From 1 October, we will be issuing infringements for unregistered dogs.

If your dog remains unregistered, you’ll be issued a $300 infringement fee, plus the registration fee.

Dog registration fees help fund animal management services, including dog control, responding to incidents, and complaints, operation of the animal shelter, education, and enforcement activities.

The quickest way to register is through the Dogs Online Portal using your login details at: selwyn.govt.nz/paydogrego
