The Council is planning a new reserve development for the Springs Ward on Birchs Road, Prebbleton, and we want to hear what you think.

Last year we carried out local community consultation and identified a number of elements that people were looking for, including off-lead dog areas, diverse play experiences, and safe biking and sporting opportunities.

From this consultation, we’ve put together a draft design and now we want more input from the local community. The plan includes pathways, seating and picnic areas, shade trees, a waterway, open grass and play spaces, bike tracks, and an off-leash dog exercise area.

You can have a look through the plan and have your say online. We will be sending out a summary document to some of the surround communities in Prebbleton and Lincoln. We also want to know if you have any ideas on what we can name the new reserve.

This park was initially proposed in the Council’s 2015–2025 Long-Term Plan which was adopted by the Council following public consultation in 2015. Consultation on this part of the project closes on Friday 13 December.
