A month of events supporting Selwyn employers, employees and those looking to get into work is expanding with new sessions added for this week.

Learn Earn Grow Selwyn has seen the Council partner with employment, business and community groups to run seminars, workshops and other events offering advice and support for people at all stages of their employment from those looking for a job, to people looking to hire, or grow their business.

With several workshops already sold out and tickets going quickly for others the Council has worked with these partners to add three more sessions to the month’s events. The three online sessions will cover COVID support, digital marketing and adapting customer service to the current climate.

The additional events will kick off today (18 March) with a session by the Ministry of Social Development and Connected NZ designed to help navigate and provide information on what is available for small businesses and job seekers during these challenging times with COVID.

They will be followed by sessions on Friday with A.P.E Consulting covering why we need to adapt our ideas of customer service and how it works for your customers, while Digital Boost will bring practical tips for upskilling in the digital space.
