With the hot weather forecast this week we’re urging people to play their part to help avoid water restrictions. Please reduce water use and avoid watering gardens and lawns during peak times of 6–9am and 4–9pm.

If the high water use continues at current rates restrictions will be inevitable.

However, with a few changes we can ensure everyone can keep having a good, uninterrupted supply over summer. The Council is asking people to reduce water use and to avoid watering gardens and lawns during peak times of 6–9am and 4–9pm.

Please change your watering time to a lower demand time and if you have an automatic timer, adjust it.
