Work has begun to seal a 1km long unsealed stretch of Dunns Crossing Road, between Boulez Mews and Selwyn Road. The project includes shoulder widening, road pavement construction and chip sealing, and is expected to be completed by the end of April.

Contractors will be safely managing traffic throughout the project through speed restrictions, lane closures, and give way controls.

Tosswill Road, Prebbleton
Work will start in April on a street frontage upgrade of Tosswill Road in Prebbleton, to be completed by the end of May.

The upgrade involves sealing the long grass shoulder on the southern side of the road, to create a parallel parking lane up to the Domain entrance. New kerb and channel and footpath construction will be installed on the southern side of the road over a total length of 365m, from the Prebbleton Domain to Ashford Avenue. The upgrade also involves stormwater improvements.

During construction temporary speed restrictions, temporary traffic signals and parking restrictions will be in place when required.

Birchs Road, Lincoln
The contractors have now completed all of the sumps, manholes and pipe installations on Birchs Road. All kerb and channel has also now been poured.

They are now preparing the new footpath, driveways and road pavement ready to be sealed by the end of this week. Once sealing is completed, line marking will be installed and berms will be reinstated and grass seeded.
