The new pool at Selwyn Aquatic CentreThe new pool at Selwyn Aquatic Centre officially opened last week.

The new 10-lane, 25-metre pool was opened to the public on Tuesday, completing the main extension works to the centre and substantially increasing the pool space.

Once the new pool has been opened for at least two weeks the existing main pool will be closed for maintenance, including reducing the depth of the pool. The new pool, leisure pool and learn to swim pools will remain open.

Five new family changing rooms, a new accessible family changing room, and new smaller male and female overflow changing rooms next to the aquatic centre extension have already opened. The upgraded female changing rooms, foyer and additional
administration space are on track to open in late June.
