Selwyn Aquatic Centre will reopen today (Friday 22 November) after being closed for maintenance yesterday.

The centre will be open as usual including all classes and programmes. There may be some occasional lane closures while final bits of work are completed, but wherever possible these will be completed during quiet times when there are fewer people using the pools.

The Aquatic Centre was closed yesterday (Thursday 21 November) for work to fix damage caused to the air ducting system by Wednesday's storm, which led to some bolts on the ducts coming away from the ceiling. Thanks to contractors Armitage Williams for their work checking every bolt and ensuring the pools are safe and thank you for your patience while we had to be closed.
