Over 40,000 native trees and plants have already been planted at the 22-hectare park, which features bike trails, sports grounds, playground and dog park. A come and play open day on 11 June will mark the official opening of the park.

More off-road bike trails, a water way and large areas of native planting will be developed over the next five years as the park continues to grow.
