Families enjoy the foster Park playground

Foster Park will be getting a new tube slide.

The Council has confirmed the current tube slide will be replaced in the New Year with a new slide.

The slide has been closed since cracks were discovered in the plastic which made it unsafe to use.

The Foster Park playground will be closed from 27 January for 10 days, so the old slide can be taken out and the new one installed safely.

We’ll be using the opportunity to carry out routine maintenance on the rest of the playground.

The tube slide will be closed until then. Thank you for your patience while we get this fixed.
