Businesses are being offered the opportunity to be included in the refreshed Selwyn Directory.

The Council has unveiled an updated Selwyn Directory—a searchable online directory of businesses in the district. The directory is now open for registrations or updated details. It offers businesses the chance to advertise their details including a map location, contacts, website and social media links and a summary of their business.

The directory is part of Council’s work to support local businesses and encourage people to think local when looking for goods and services, Community Services and Facilities group manager Denise Kidd says.

As well as providing a free opportunity to promote to customers in the district to customers the directory will help business to business links, she says.

“The directory is a great tool for finding local resources to assist your business. As a smaller district we know businesses are strengthened by looking at where they can complement each other and by working together and the directory’s a good way to connect.”
