The Council's Rolleston headquarters is now closed.

The Council meeting scheduled for 1pm Wednesday was brought forward to 9am.

The Pines Resource Recovery Park in Rolleston is closed.

All other Council facilities are now closed.

We have business continuity and pandemic plans in place to make sure that essential services (such as roading, water, sewerage and stormwater, refuse collection etc) will continue to be provided.

Kerbside collections will be continuing as normal. Bin deliveries, repairs, removals etc are continuing as normal at this point.

We are also prepared to support New Zealand health agencies with sharing of information and by making Civil Defence staff available.
